Mayflower Washroom Solutions, part of the phs Group, is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead and shape operational performance across a multi-site region. Responsible for warehouse operations, washroom service delivery and consumables distribution, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction and sustainable business growth.
This is a high-profile leadership position where you will work across multiple functions to improve productivity, strengthen operational capability and create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus.
Role Specification – The Regional Operations Director role at Mayflower
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed operational leadership team across multiple sites.
- Translate business strategy into effective regional operational plans and drive delivery against key objectives.
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant performance, while improving productivity, stock accuracy and resource utilisation.
- Lead the delivery of washroom services, driving service quality, route efficiency, customer retention and operational performance.
- Ensure consumables are distributed accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed service levels.
- Take ownership of regional operational budgets, cost control, productivity targets and overall financial performance.
- Use operational data and KPIs to identify trends, mitigate risks and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, HR, Fleet and Supply Chain teams to support customer growth and operational excellence.
- Champion a positive health, safety and compliance culture across all operations.
- Lead, coach and develop managers, building a high-performing and engaged leadership team.

Essential
- Significant senior operational leadership experience within a multi-site environment.
- Experience leading managers and operational teams across a geographically dispersed region.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse, logistics, distribution and/or field service operations.
- Proven track record of improving operational productivity, efficiency and service performance.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including management of substantial operational budgets.
- Experience using KPIs and operational data to drive performance and decision making.
- Exceptional people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Experience leading operational change and continuous improvement programmes.
- Strong customer focus with an understanding of how operational performance drives growth and retention.
- Commitment to health, safety and operational compliance.
Desirable
- Experience within washroom services, hygiene, facilities management, consumables distribution or related service sectors.
- Experience managing integrated warehouse, distribution and field service operations.
- Experience supporting business growth, transformation programmes or operational modernisation initiatives.
- CPC and COTC are desirable qualifications for this position.
